Kevin was an incredible loving Husband, Father, Son, Brother, and Uncle as well as a wonderful Friend to many.
Kevinundefineds zest for life was inspiring as he was always smiling and pulling pranks, offering support and assistance whenever he could, always willing to jump in and lend a hand without even being asked. He was kind to all and often spoke about as one of the nicest persons one could meet. He loved to laugh, smile and take others at their best.
Kevin grew up in Kirkland Washington where he often spoke of the great times he and his friends had.
As a young middle schooler Kevin was featured in the mural that was painted on the wall in Kirkland junior high. He joked that this was his limit to fame in his lifetime. Kevin graduated in 1978 from Lake Washington High School.
He loved the outdoors and as a young man fished with his father Kermit and brother Ken in Neah Bay as a child and later spent time fishing with his father-in-law John in Saratoga passage, Canada, and Alaska. His love for the outdoors was also spent going for many hikes and long walks with his sister Thea and sister-in-law Sue.
Kevin had a real passion for water, the woods, and sunsets. He would often watch sunsets and comment on the beauty of the sky. The last few years he would discuss the colors and would ensure that on those special colorful nights the ones he loved looked to share those with him from wherever they were. He often made those calls, and the receiver knew that he was calling and often answered with a undefinedisnundefinedt it especially beautiful tonightundefined. Most recently he spent time looking up waterfalls and conversing on ones we may visit someday. He loved purple and said it reminded him of his mother Bette as this was her favorite color and she looked beautiful in it every time she wore purple. He also had a love for hummingbirds as they brought him joy to watch them feed from the feeders.
Kevin loved music; classic rock was his favorite. He sang along with all the songs and will be remembered for his favorites by those close to him as they continue to sing along for years to come.
If there was an event or party, Kevin wanted to attend. His joys in life were the family and friends that he spent most of his time with. He loved a good time.
Kevinundefineds career in grocery retail for thirty-five years and his passion for his concrete overlay business he had for eight years introduced him to many people he considered friends throughout the years. He always considered himself blessed to know so many people he called friends.
He was proud of and loved his daughter Kelsey very much, her accomplishments of her masterundefineds degree and career choices as well as the marriage to her husband Jon. He spoke of her with such pride. When she was younger the two of them would go for ice cream and sing together and continued those traditions throughout the years.
He was adored by the children in his life, his nieces and nephews and later his great nieces and nephews as they were always finding ways to get their Uncle Kevin to join in on some adventure and fun. He often invented ways to prank and enjoy times creating special memories for all of them.
The pets in Kevinundefineds life were extremely important to him. Oscar, Harley, and Daisy were his puppies and he cared for them with love and affection and considered them his small buddies.
Kevin loved travel and visiting Mexico spending many weeks there over the years. He would call the sun and water paradise and always looked forward to the trips that were planned.
Kevin was happily married to his wife Kim Johnson for 34 years. They continued to be devoted to the happiness of each other. They were confidants and traveling partners.
