Kevin Handmaker

With deepest sorrow, we announce that Kevin Wade Handmaker, age 44, passed away suddenly on Friday, April 17, 2020. Born in Louisville, Kentucky, Kevin died at home in Cincinnati, Ohio. Kevin is best known for launching Vapor Studio in Leesburg, Virginia-one of the earliest vape stores in the area-where he offered high-quality juices and a warm, inviting setting for customers. Kevin touched many people with his love, generosity, quick wit, music knowledge, and contemplative mind. He was a Friend of Bill.

Kevin will be dearly missed by his mother, Linda Beasley (Handmaker) Kinne; his stepfather, Richard Kinne; and his daughter, Kaitlyn Belle (Handmaker) Blomberg, who was the light of his life. Also surviving are Kevin's stepmother, Lana Wilson; and his uncle, Kenneth Handmaker, and wife, Judy.

Kevin's body will be cremated in the Outer Banks of North Carolina, where his parents currently reside. At a future date, his ashes will be spread, along with his father's, in the Scattering Garden of Cavehill Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
