Kevin Anthony Guthrie, 57, of Freetown, died at 12:10 p.m. on Sunday, June 5, 2022, at his home. He was born on July 18, 1964, in Seymour, to the late Henry Kenneth "Buck" Guthrie & Dotty Lea (Gardner) Guthrie. On May 6, 1995, Kevin married Tawana Mae (Boling) Guthrie and she survives. He was a truck driver.
He was a member of the Washington Lodge #13 F&AM, Scottish Rite, & Shriners (Rolling Hills Smokey Patrol, North Vernon).
Kevin is survived by his wife, Tawana; children, Megan Patricia (John) Stacy, Hiaely Jo (Jake) Oliger, Natasha Carise Perry, & Kristopher Anthony (Starla); grandchildren, Rylan Jo Hinton, Forest Michael Taylor, Lexus, & Rylynn; brothers, Kenneth Alvin Guthrie & Keith Alan Guthrie; and a sister, Diana Lynn Zink.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Kent Guthrie; son, Joshua Kent Guthrie; and a sister-in-law, Linda Guthrie.
Kevin loved camping, riding his Harley, fishing, watching NASCAR, dirt track racing, and tormenting his grandchildren.
Funeral services for Kevin will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at Johnson Funeral Home, Vallonia with Matt Roberts officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral. Burial will take place at Vallonia Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Washington Lodge #13 F&AM or to the Donor's Choice.
