Kenneth Cameron Walden was born on April 5, 1926 and raised by goodly parents in Paragould, Arkansas. He passed away peacefully on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2020 in Bountiful Utah.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years Janice Lela Walden (Johnson). Kenneth is survived by his sister Wanda (Raymond) Atwood. He is also survived by a very large posterity including eight children: James Robert (Kathy), Bruce Cameron (Kathy), Douglas Allen (Toni), Maurice Aaron (Deborah), Sue Elana, Ilona Latena, Karla Denese (William) and Kendall McKay (Ellen). Kenneth was very keen on keeping up with his 20 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren and five great, great grandchildren. Dad loved family history and was proud to have 77 descendants.
Kenneth's career included 20 + years in the United States Navy (retired) and he is a three-war veteran. His career also included being a civil service warehouseman, banker, truck driver, grocer, taxi driver and many sales positions. He always worked diligently to ensure his family was taken care of. He was very organized in everything he did.
Kenneth was a faithful man and one of his top priorities was following our Savior's example the best he knew how. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, he loved and served in many ecclesiastical positions such as Elders Quorum President, High Priest Leader, and Bishop. He and his wife Janice served two full-time missions in Tallahassee FL. and Nauvoo IL.
Funeral arrangements are as follows: graveside services on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bountiful City Cemetery, Bountiful UT. Join livestream and share memories at Serenicare.com
