Kenneth E Theobald

Galesburg- Kenneth E Theobald, 68, Galesburg Route 2, died at 6 p.m. Tuesday (Feb 9 1993) at home.

He was born June 1, 1924, in Williamsfield, the son of Frank C and Mary E Mundy Theobald. He married Agnes L. Herrin on Dec 30, 1950 in Galesburg.

Surviving are his wife; two sons, Mark W. Theobald and Michael F Theobald, both of Galesburg; one daughter, Ann M. Thomas, Galesburg, one sister, sandy Humphrey, Galesburg, and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, one sister and two grandchildren.

He worked as an assembler at Gale Products Division of Outboard Marine Corp. for 37 years, retiring in 1980.

He was an Army veteran and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2257.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Corpus Christi Catholic Church with Rev. James McAteer officiating. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Watson Funeral Home, where a prayer service will be held at 8;30 p.m. Burial will be in St. Joseph's cemetery, where molitary rites will be conducted by VFW post 2257.

Memorials may be made to Corpus Christi Catholic Church.
