Kenneth Noble Suggs, age 73, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 7, 2021 in Alice, Texas. He was born on January 26, 1948, to James L. Suggs and Ellen Shafer Suggs in Bishop, Texas.
Noble was a lifelong resident of Bishop where he graduated High School. He proudly served in the United States Army. He married his loving wife, Karen in 1971 and had three children. He worked for Celanese Chemical Plant as an Operator for 30 years. Noble coached baseball and soccer, was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bishop. He also had the honor of serving as the City of Bishop Mayor and Municipal Court Judge.
Noble enjoyed spending time at the lake house at Lagarto Creek and "The Ranchito" in George West. One of Noble's pride and joys was his grandchildren. He truly cherished the time he spent with them. He also enjoyed woodworking. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by, his parents, James L. and Ellen S. Suggs.
Survivors left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 50 years, Karen K. Suggs; children, Shane (Lisa) Suggs, Lance (Marion) Suggs, and Blake (Van) Mooney; grandchildren, Tristan, Kylie, Alexandra, Delanie, Victor, and Case; sister, Beth (Tom) Kartrude; brothers, James Richard (Patty) Suggs and Lawrence Miller (Debbie) Suggs; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Saturday, October 16, 2021. A Memorial Service with Military Honors will immediately at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church in Bishop, Texas. All services will conclude at the church.
Arrangements are entrusted to Holmgreen Mortuary, 2061 East Main Street, Alice, Texas.
