Kenneth E. Reutebuch 88 of Altoona, Fl passed away Monday August 1, 2022 peacefully at home. He was born in Pulaski, Indiana and moved to central Florida in 1964. He and his wife owned and operated the Tavares Hardware Store for 25 years and he was still working there until his retirement in 2020. He was a member of St. Mary of The Lakes Catholic Church of Eustis where he served as an usher and was a member of The Knights of Columbus. He was a former volunteer firefighter for the Tavares Fire Dept. he also was a volunteer for Hospice for 20 years and was a member of the Tavares Jaycees. He enjoyed making handmade writing instruments. He is survived by his loving wife Mary of Altoona, one son Phillip E. of Englewood, Fl, four daughters; Jane (Akira) Kaneda of Tokyo, Japan, Julia (Tom) Davis of Tavares, Fl, Pamela Reutebuch of Chapin, SC, and Patrica Reutebuch of Avon Park, Fl., One sister Margaret Ann (John) Woodward of Lafayette, Ind. Four grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was pre deceased by one daughter Deborah. A funeral mass will be held Monday Aug. 8, 2022 at 10 O'clock AM at St. Mary of The Lakes Catholic Church of Eustis with Fr. Carlos Bedoya, Celebrant. Visitation will be at the funeral home Sunday from 4 until 6 P.M. with a vigil service at 5:30 P.M. Inurnment at Tavares Cemetery will held at a later date. Beyers Funeral Home and Crematory in charge of arrangements.
