Kenneth W. Kirsch DDS, age 81, of Janesville, formerly of Orange County, CA, died on Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at Oak Park Place, Janesville. He was born in Phoenix, AZ on June 14, 1940, the son of Herman and Ellen (Walpole) Kirsch. Kenneth graduated from the University of Southern California in Dentistry in 1965. He married Caroline D. (Bassett) Logan and they later divorced. He married Claudia J. Farrell on October 17, 1992, at Hollywood Presbyterian Church, Hollywood, CA. Kenneth practiced as a dentist for 51 years and was also in charge of the Arizona operations for Western Dental Corp. As a committed Christian, he was a member of various churches throughout his life, most recently at Calvary Chapel in Chino Hills, CA. He enjoyed fly fishing, traveling all over the world with Claudia and gardening where he primarily grew roses. He was also a composer pianist with a passion for classical music.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Claudia; 4 children: Christopher Hadley Kirsch of Humboldt, CA, Kevin Walpole (Stacie Virginia Boord) Kirsch of Columbus, OH, Ian Bruce (Kathryn) McGough of Ontario, CA and Megan Marie McGough (Adam) Amundson of Edgerton, WI; 16 grandchildren: Schuyler Kirsch, James "Jake" (Alexandra) Kirsch, Chelsea (Chanc) Russell, Jack Kirsch, Gibson Kirsch, Imogen Kirsch, Garrett Kirsch, Jadyn Talbott-Boord, Rowan McGough, Declan Amundson, Landon McGough, Ainsley Amundson, Archer Amundson, Elowyn McGough, Everett Amundson and Asher Amundson; great granddaughter, Peyton Burns; and a great grandson due September 27, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Edward Kirsch; and twin sister, Kathleen Gardner.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 6, 2021, at APFEL EHLERT FUNERAL HOME, 315 Lord St. (Hwy 51) Edgerton with Rev. Jim Salimes officiating. Burial will be in Fulton Cemetery. The family will gather on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
