Kenneth Lee Gulick, 73, of Fairlee, VT, passed away suddenly on May 25, 2020 surrounded by his wife and children.
He was born on January 11, 1947 in Lebanon, NH to Donald and Lorraine Gulick, the oldest of three children. He graduated from Thetford Academy in 1966, where he was a star soccer player then attended Concord Business College in Concord NH. After college he joined the Navy where he was a paramedic. On October 20, 1979, he married Chris LaMontagne, whom he raised his family with. He ran his family's farm with his father, then in the later years he passed it on to his son, Shaun Gulick, helping with it daily.
He was an avid gun collector who loved to shoot skeet and trap, you could often find him visiting gun shops to chat about guns and looking for special guns to add to his collection. He also enjoyed spending time at his lake house with his wife and children, while at the lake he could be found in the gazebo watching the lake and listening to nature. Ken was an active part of his community for many years while he was on the Select Board and enjoyed informing the community of events.
He is survived by his wife Chris Gulick; daughter and son in law Kimberly and Robert Thompson of Charleston, NH; and son and daughter in law Shaun and Stefanie Gulick of Fairlee, VT; grandchildren Ruth and Liam; daughter and son in law Megan and Eric Corum of Gilmanton, NH; grandchildren Hayley and Aria; son Jason Ball of Fairlee, VT. He is predeceased by his parents Donald and Loraine Gulick, brother Michael Gulick and son Jay Gulick.
At this time the family won't be holding services but will have a celebration of life at a later date at their lake house. Arrangements are by Hale Funeral Home in Bradford, VT.
