Kenneth Ray Gable, 83 years old, of Dallas, Texas, departed on July 9, 2020, on the wings of angels. Kenneth was born in Rose Hill, Iowa to Ray and Viola Gable. He lived and worked with the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company for 42 years prior to his retirement several years ago. Kenneth was a great friend to many as well as a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and grandfather.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents and sister Norma. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Barbara, as well as his son, Dennis, daughter-in-law Elizabeth, granddaughters Cara and Kathryn of Plano, Texas and his sister Martha Veerman of Iowa. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A memorial service in celebration of Kenneth's life will be held at Restland Funeral Home, 9220 Restland Road, Dallas, Texas 75243 on July 28, 2020, at 10 am. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or American Heart Association in remembrance and celebration of his life.
