Kenneth D. Blount 70 was born on October 2, 1947. In South Bend Indiana to the union of Helen O. (Snyder) Blount and George W. Blount Sr.
Kenneth departed this life on June 22, 2018.
Kenneth was a U.S. Navy Veteran and a U.S. Postal Service retiree.
He leaves to mourn his passing his wife Shirley, one son Kenneth M. Blount, step-son Greg Tate, a sister Vicki Blount and brother George W. Blount Jr. Seven grand-children also survive him.
There will be a visitation for friends and family on Friday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Greater St. John M.B. Church 101 N. Adams Street South Bend and from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service time Saturday morning at the church.
Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery.
