Kenneth Garland Campbell, 57 of Seymour passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 16, 1966 in Tripoli, Libya, Africa to Charles Curtis and Joyce Ailene Johnson Campbell. Although he was born in Africa, he came to the United States at the age of two years old. He grew up and attended school in Austin, Indiana. In 1986, he married Betty Jo Bryant in Cheatham County, Tennessee. He began working for Rumpke of Kentucky in 1992 and worked there for 32 years, concluding his time as a Route Supervisor. Kenny will always be remembered for his love for family and friends. He loved camping, karaoke, cornhole, cooking out for his family and playing music trivia with his grandkids.
He is preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Kathy Edwards, Carol Ritchey, and Connie Bowling and his brother, Charles Campbell.
Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife of 38 years, Betty, daughters, Jessica (Corey) Rawls, Tiffany (Aaron Cook) Campbell, Ashley (Benjamin) Negron and Kristen (Christopher) Shaw, his sisters, Tanya Coffelt and Sandy Cunnigham, his grandchildren, Bryanna Rawls, Braydon Campbell, Collin Rawls, Kylie Campbell, Waylon McIntosh, Macie Rawls, Dakota Gudgel, Audrey Negron, Cameron Shaw, Logan Negron and Kaidynce Shaw and great-granddaughter, Esmeray Rawls.
Friends may visit with Kenny's family from 10:00 am until the memorial service at 12:00 pm Saturday, August 3, 2024 at Burkholder Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes, 419 N. Chestnut Street, Seymour. Pastor Randy King will officiate. Concluding services and inurnment will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
