Keith Fellbaum, 87-year-old resident of Little Falls, MN, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2025, to be with the Lord. Per Keith's wishes, there will be no funeral services. Caring for Keith and his family is the LeMieur Funeral Home in Little Falls, MN.
Keith Fellbaum was born on November 2, 1937. He began his life in Little Falls, MN, born to Helen and Izzie Fellbaum, with two siblings, Karen and Bryce. After graduating from high school, he attended South Dakota State University on an ROTC scholarship, earning a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. After college, Keith entered the Army, supporting the Berlin Crisis. Following his military service, he started his engineering career with the Minnesota Department of Transportation in St. Paul, MN. Keith married Annette Fortier, and they welcomed their first child, Daniel. Keith later joined the National Park Service in Glacier Park, leading recovery efforts after the 1964 flood. During this time, he and Annette had their second son, David. Keith then transferred to Mount Rushmore, working on the renovation of the monument's visitor center and overseeing facility development in Jewel and Wind Caves. It was here that their daughter Nancy was born. Eventually, Keith transferred to Yellowstone Park as an environmental engineer. Promoted to Chief of Park Maintenance in Glacier Park, Keith served the remainder of his tenure with the Park Service until retirement. Following retirement, Keith and Annette returned to Little Falls to enjoy their golden years. Keith was a loving father, a shining example and role model, and a devout man who loved God and served Jesus. He will be warmly welcomed in heaven.
Keith is survived by his children, Dan and his wife, Therese, along with their children, Tom, Marc, and Claire; David and his wife, Lisa, with their children, Brianna and Alyssa; and Nancy, with her husband Wade, and their children, Amanda and Ryker. He is also survived by his sister, Karen and brother, Bryce, along with Bryce's wife, Kathy, and their children, Ben and Sarah.
Keith was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Annette.
