Dr. Keith C. Eldred, age 79, of Cheyenne, WY, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2025, in Appleton, WI. He was born on February 28, 1945, to the late Carlyle and Delia (Muhlman) Eldred.
On June 24, 1966, he married Judy Germann. Judy preceded him in death on March 14, 1997. Keith served in the Wyoming Air National Guard and Air Force Reserves for a total of 14 years. He practiced Optometry in Cheyenne from 1972-2016 sharing the practice with his son until his retirement.
He was a longtime member of Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church in Cheyenne. While we will miss his warm smile, gentle spirit, and steadfast devotion, we find comfort in knowing he is now in the presence of God and at peace in his eternal home.
He is survived by his children: Dr. David (Linda) Eldred, Cheyenne, WY, and Suzanne (Rev. Matthew) Krenke, Appleton, WI; six grandchildren, Dawson (Haleigh), Lindsay, Lydia (Espen), Nathaniel, Joshua, and Julia and one great-granddaughter, Marlee Eldred. He also leaves behind two sisters Gwen Wiebusch and Maxine Place.
Visitation will take place at Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church, 4776 Mountain Rd., Cheyenne, on Saturday, March 1, 2025, from 10:00 am until the memorial service at 11:00 am with Pastor Matt Krenke officiating, and a light luncheon to follow.
