Kay LeNeave Myrick, 79, of Raleigh and Littleton, NC, passed away Saturday, November 4, 2023. Kay was born in 1944 to the late Dessie Ida Thomas and George R. LeNeave, in Henderson, NC. She was the widow of the late Clyde Carlton Myrick. Kay was admired, accomplished, and a pioneer for women in her professional life. She enjoyed the respect and companionship of her community as well. Above all, Kay identified as a daughter, a wife, and a mother to all.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Calvary Church, 136 Calvary Church Road, Littleton, NC, followed by a graveside service in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall immediately following the graveside service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Church, 136 Calvary Church Road, Littleton, NC 27850, or to Calvary Church Cemetery Association c/o Tommy Myrick, 67 Calvary Church Road, Littleton, NC 27850.
