Katie C. Heyer, 87 died peacefully at home with a smile on her lips and a book in her hand. She was preceded in death by her mother, Rebena Boyd Crockett of Asbury Acres, her father, Samuel Jasper Crockett, Richmond, VA. She is survived by her daughter, Kay Heyer Sanders, granddaughter Tori Sanders Knight, (William Knight Logan and Liam) GA and daughter Lucinda VonGlahn, Matthew and Rudy of FL and a surly dachshund.
