KATHY SHIVER
was born in Georgetown, South Carolina on March 8, 1932 the daughter of the late Henry B. and Katie Davis Morris.
Kathy was a homemaker. She was a former resident of Rome, Georgia for several years and moved to Hardin County in 1960. Kathy was a member of the Savannah Church of Christ. In her spare time she enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening and reworking antique furniture. Kathy loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved going to Pickwick Lake and to the beach.
Kathy departed this life on Sunday, April 12, 2020 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 88 years, 1 month and 4 days.
She is survived by her two sons, Jack Shiver, Jr. and his wife Annette Berry Shiver of Savannah, Tennessee and Kelly J. Shiver and his wife Kelly York Shiver of Fairview, Tennessee; grandchildren, Brandon Shiver, O'Neal Christian Franks, Hunter York Shiver and Kennedy Carter Shiver; and great grandchild, Garrett Nash Shiver.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Lynn Shiver, brothers, John Henry Morris and Davis O'Neal Morris and one sister, Violet Carter.
