Kathy Ann Locklair, 64, of Aiken, SC, entered into rest on Wednesday, April 3, 2024. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Bennie Nelson and Dorothy Kight Locklair, and her grandmother, Essie Lee Kight.
A graveside service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at 2 o'clock in Westview Cemetery, Augusta, GA, with Pastors James S. Kight and Al Kight officiating.
Left to cherish Kathy's memory are her aunts and uncles, Mrs. Erma June Rauch, of Blythewood, SC, Rev. James S. Kight (Julia), of Lexington, SC, Ruth Blackstone, of Taylors, SC, and Iris Laskey (Doug), of Blythewood, SC, numerous cousins, and her beloved cat.
Kathy was born in Augusta, Georgia. She was a member of the former Augusta Primitive Baptist Church and worked for many years for Hobby Lobby until her health declined. She was an avid reader. Kathy was an independent soul who enjoyed meeting and talking with people.
