Miss Kathryn J. Sworzen, 57, of Adams, died on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at Hillcrest Commons in Pittsfield. She was born in Adams on September 28, 1963, a daughter of the late Theodore and Jeannette (Ziemba) Sworzen. She attended schools in Adams and graduated from Hoosac Valley High School. Miss Sworzen worked for many years in the shipping department of Crane & Co., North Adams until they closed. She was a communicant of the Parish of St. John Paul II at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Adams. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, watching the Hallmark Channel and spending time with her family. She is survived by her children, Nicholas and Katelyn Kmon of Adams; a brother, Joseph Sworzen and his wife Stephanie of Adams; two sisters, Barbara Dow and her husband Robert and Janice Brown and her husband David, all of Adams and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, June 8th at 9:00 A.M. from the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Adams. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Adams. Calling hours are Monday from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
