"Katie" Kathryn M. Beliveau 76 of Manchester, NH and Hampton, NH died January 27, 2021. Katie is reunited with the love of her life of 38 years Andy J. Beliveau, he died March 11, 2009. Born in Manchester, NH and a lifelong resident of NH, she was the youngest child of Patrick J. and M. Veronica (Keefe) Clougherty. She was deeply committed to her faith in God, a great love for her country and was profoundly proud of her Irish American heritage.
Katie attended McDonald School and was a graduate of Manchester Central High School class of 1962, where she was voted class comedian. During her school years she enjoyed playing basketball at Lincoln school yard and being a Park counselor at Kalivas Park during the summer. She was also a member of the Women's Auxiliary at Henry J. Sweeney Post #2.
Katie worked for many years at Pandora Industries before starting at Dartmouth Hitchcock Clinic. Retiring at Dartmouth Hitchcock Clinic with twenty-five years of service, she worked as a Patient Account Manager in the Bedford/Manchester Office.
Katie grew up in a close-knit family and often enjoyed spending time with her cousin's the Kelley's and the Haley's. Although she did not have any children, she was blessed and lovingly thought of her nieces, nephews and lifelong friends' children as her own.
Katie's love of family and friends brought her to many sporting events, often traveling throughout New England and Canada, usually with her grand nieces and nephews in tote. If she was not traveling, many good times were spent by the pool or at the Beach. Hampton Beach was always a home to Katie and later in life she purchased a home there. This was a dream her and Andy had always talked about.
Katie will be remembered for her generosity, selflessness, and devotion to her family and friends. She was known for her Irish humor, quick wit and a memory like no other. She had a huge heart, and often donated to many causes that were important to her. It would take another lifetime to know everything about this remarkable woman. She was loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing her and has left an indelible mark on every single life that she touched.
She was also predeceased by her brother Walter J. Clougherty in 1969 as well as her sister Mary P. (Gracyalny) Morris in 1990.
