She would often sing the old song, "I Love You A Bushel and A Peck" to her daughters when they were young. In addition, she said, "I love you" to her daughters and son-in-law frequently. She also could talk to anyone she met. After meeting any "stranger" at a store, on a bus, or plane, she could tell you all about that person including information about his/her work, children, and ailments, etc.
Kathleen's husband loved working in his large garden. At harvest time, Kathleen and her daughters canned and froze the vegetables plus fruit they picked for fine dining throughout the winter months. Kathleen loved reading especially mysteries. She enjoyed playing cards including Euchre and in later years, Bridge. She is loved will be greatly missed.
