Kathleen E. Reynolds, cherished resident of Tuckahoe, NJ went home to be with her Lord on Friday, October 4, 2024 at her home, surrounded by loved ones.
Born in Norwich, NY to the late Charles and Rosemary Knapp, Kathleen's life was marked by devotion to her husband and children. She found joy in gardening and community service. Kathleen learned to fly and achieved her solo flight in July 1980.
Kathleen volunteered with the American Red Cross Virginia Region and Lake Christian Ministries of Smith Mountain Lake. She was deployed to Southern Louisiana after Hurricane Katrina, demonstrating her commitment to aid in times of crisis.
Predeceased by her husband, Edward J. Reynolds in 2021, she leaves behind children Jerry (Kate) Reynolds, Theresa (Ed) Carter, Steve (Sabrina) Reynolds, grandchildren: Ashley (Frank) Smyth, Edward (Alexa) Carter, Jr., Johnathan Carter, Kevin Reynolds, Meghan Reynolds and one great grandchild: Emory Carter. Kathleen is further survived by brothers: Tom Knapp and Joe (Ruth) Knapp along with nieces, nephews and friends.
A Service of Memory and Love will be offered Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 11 o'clock in Corbin City Baptist Church, 212 Main Street, Corbin City, NJ.
Burial was held privately.
