Kathleen Mary Grimes, 74 of Waldorf, Maryland passed on June 24, 2024. She was born in Ohio on September 25, 1949 to Paul and Cecilia (Hoehn) Miller. She was a volunteer with Meals on Wheels for decades and was a devoted Christian and shared the word of Christ enthusiastically. She is survived by her devoted husband of 54 years, Fred Grimes, and her children, Scott Grimes, and Michele (Jeff) Hogan. Kathy will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Kyle Nease, Alexis Hogan, and Sean Hogan. Kathy loved spending time with her grandchildren and they loved spending time with her. She also enjoyed playing Scrabble with family and friends, doing word search puzzles, and talking with her MOW clients and drivers. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to either St. Jude Children's Hospital or the Waldorf Volunteer Fire Department in her name. Visitation will be held on July 8, 2024 from 10am until time of mass at 11 at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church in Waldorf.
