Kathleen Garner, age 99, ofCanton(Sutallee),GA peacefully went to be
with the Lord on November 12, 2022. Kathleen was born in Lawrenceville,
GA. She wasprecededin death by her husband, Walter Leroy (Roy)
Garner, her parents, Charles and Jackie Bowles, 11 brothers and sisters
and her son-in-law, Wayne Page.
She is survived by her daughter, Diane Page, her grandchildren, Deborah
Lewis (Steve) and Noel Page (Tom);great grandchildren, ChrisRing
(Jessica) and Emily Ring; and threegreat-great-granddaughters, Addie,
Harper, and Emmie Ring.
She was a devoted church member of Sutallee Baptist Church, Sunday
School teacher and Bible School worker for the past 35 years. She was an
avid gardener, quilter, and reader. She was "Rosie the Riveter", an excellent
cook, President of the local AARP, member of the Canton Moose Lodge,
and an avid Atlanta Braves fan.
She is being cremated and her ashes buried with her husband in the
Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, GA. A Celebrationof Life will be held,
December 3, 2022, 11am at Sutallee Baptist Church, Canton, GA.
