Katherine Mae (Cook) Toloday, age 87, of Greenfield, passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2024. She was born in Indianapolis on February 18, 1937 to Fred and Mabel (Prange) Cook. She graduated from New Palestine High School in 1955. Katherine married Glenn Toloday on November 19, 1961 in Cumberland, IN.
She was a devoted homemaker who dedicated her life to the care and well-being of her family. She was a member of Park Chapel Church in Greenfield. Katherine like watching tv, bird watching, and going on drives. She cherished spending time with her family and cat, Momma.
Katherine is survived by her children, Deb Spencer of Wilkinson and Keith (Kimberly) Toloday of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Spencer, Maddison (Brandon) Abrams, Mikaela Toloday, Kaiden (Lydia) Toloday, and Kennedi (Antonio) Ferree; two great-grandchildren, Kollins and Dominic; and brother, Don (Susan) Cook of Franklin, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Mabel Cook; and husband, Glenn Toloday.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2024, from 11:15 a.m. until 1:15 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will take place following the visitation at 1:30 p.m. Burial will follow at McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson.
