Karie Lyn LoCascio, 41 passed away on February 17th, 2022, peacefully at home after a courageous fight against breast cancer. She was surrounded by the love of her family and friends. Karie was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Karie truly was the most kind, generous, and loving person. She was also inspiring and brave, especially since her diagnosis 1 1/2 yrs ago. She was a kindhearted woman who was beautiful inside and out, strong in her faith, and a rock to many. She was always very active and competitive in a variety of sports even as an adult. Karie was employed at NMG Aerospace 15 years and was so appreciative of their support through her illness. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church.
Karie is survived by her husband, Paul; children, Tayler and Annabelle; Zoe and Logan; parents, John and Karla Cirino; her sisters, Katie (Mike) Looney, Kellie (Shawn) Adams, Kim (Shad) Shoff, Krista (Paul's brother Vince) LoCascio; her in-laws, Phillip and Cindy LoCascio; sister in laws, Ali (Dan) DeGeorge, Maria (Josh) Haddad, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday, February 25th, 2022 at Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle). Mass of Christian burial will be Saturday, February 26th, 2022 at 11:00 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Parish, 83 Mosser Pl., Akron. Final resting place will be at Tallmadge Cemetery following mass.
