Karen A. Sudol, 53, of Clifton passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on June 30, 2022.
Born in Albany, Georgia, Karen resided in Clifton for most of her life. Before retiring, she had been employed as a school teacher with the Woodland Park Board of Education, teaching middle school art for most of her career. She also served as the Chair of Youth Art Month for Passaic County for many years, won the Governor’s Award for Teaching and had worked for Camp Rainbow for special needs students as an Art Therapist. She had been a parishioner of St. Andrew the Apostle RC Church in Clifton.
Karen is survived by her loved and caring parents, Walter E. and June (nee Jancio) Sudol, of Clifton; by her dear sister, Alyson Sudol, also of Clifton; her dear uncle, Rev. Gerard Sudol; and by her many friends and colleagues.
Visiting will be Thursday from 2-4pm at St. Philip the Apostle RC Church, 797 Valley Road, Clifton with the funeral mass to follow at 4:00pm. All services will conclude at church. Due to health reasons, for those attending wishing to see June and Wally it is kindly requested that you come to the visitation between 3:00 and 4:00.
