Karen Margaret Carnes, 83, of Casa Grande, Az., died on July 26, 2022. She was born in Fort Atkinson, WI.
On February 25, 1939, to John Huber and Edith Baker. Karen is remembered most as a woman of strong and devout Catholic faith. She taught and believed in loving your neighbor as yourself, her beliefs flowed outward to her husband, children, grandchildren, and her great-grandchildren. Karen's faith also flowed out in a long nursing career, mostly with patients who had dementia, who were cared for in her home in one of the first licensed private adult care homes in the state of Arizona. She was a woman of rare faith, fortitude, and courage who has left this legacy to us.
Karen is survived by her children; Wendall Carnes, Wren Morrow, Wava Garza, and Wynnette Highet; siblings; Dennis Huber and Rahna Reich; Aunt, Sister Rose Martin; eleven grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren.
Karen is predeceased by her late husband; Wesley Carnes Sr.; Both Parents; Children; Wayde and Wesley Carnes Jr.; Siblings; Eunice Liebel, Gerald, and Arlene Huber.
