Karen Patricia Albright (BOI) was born February 24, 1952, at St. Mary's Hospital in Galveston. She passed away October 10, 2022, due to complications from a stroke and fall.
She attended St. Patrick's Catholic School, Ursuline Academy and was a 1970 graduate of O'Connell High School. Karen for many years was a buyer for Eiband's Dept. Store then went on to work for UTMB in the medical records department. She met her husband Brian in Galveston in 1994. She enjoyed reading, gardening, riding her bike along the seawall and walking her dog "Dude" on the beach.
She is preceded in death by her parents Robert H. Albright and Ellen Patricia Whelton Albright, grandparents John P. Sr. & Ellen Whelton, Harold & Agnes Albright and other relatives.
Karen is survived by her husband Brian Jarvis. Brother & sister-in-law Kyle & Kathy Albright, sisters and brothers-in-law Lisa Albright & David McDonough, Eileen & LeRoy Wheaton & Marian Hecht. Nephews - Kyle Albright Jr. (Shannon), Robert Wheaton (Mitzi), Colin McDonough (Katie), Kevin McDonough (Devon), Nieces - Ashley Gilbert (Alex), Dana Wheaton (Ellen). Great nephews - Matthew, Patrick and Cole, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Per Karen's wishes, no services will be held.
