June Lorene Orser Vogt, 93, formerly of The Carriage House, Oxford, FL and Perry, GA, passed away at The Willows in Oxford, FL on April 20, 2020. She was born in Bellingham, WA on April 15, 1927 to Clarence Raymond Orser and Grace Wadsworth Orser. On April 20, 1946, in Modesto, CA, June married James Gordon Vogt, "Jim" of Baltimore, MD, and was married for 48 years until his passing in 1994 in Perry, GA. She moved to The Villages area in 2012 and was a member of the New Covenant United Methodist Church.
She is also predeceased by her parents; sister, Arvilla; sons, Jerry and Jamie; daughter and son-in-law, Janna and Steve Dixon.
June is survived by her children - Jenny(Mel)Sweat, The Villages, FL; Jeff(Becky) Vogt, Monroe, GA; and Jackie(Richard)Bishop, Jonesboro, AR; 9 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
A private graveside service was held for the family in Perry, GA and a Celebration of Life service will be held in Perry at a later date.
