Jane Althoff, 89, passed away, Monday, April 12, at Goshen Hospital.
She was born Jan. 1, 1932 in Wapakoneta, Ohio to Paul J. and Barbara (Hangen) Wills.
Jane graduated from Blume High School and worked at the Auglaze County Court House, Wapakoneta, before her June 3, 1956 marriage to the love of her life, Robert T. Althoff.
He survives along with two children, David (Kathy) Althoff, Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin and Melinda (Dan) Sharp, New Paris; four grandchildren, Stephanie and Benjamin Althoff, Adrian Sharp and Audrey (Adam) Lung; two great-grandchildren, Clara and Ethan Lung; three siblings, Mary Tabler, Sharlene Schilling and Thomas (Marilyn) Wills, all of Wapakoneta and many nieces and nephews.
Jane, a very faithful Christian, will be remembered by many as a Godly and generous wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was greatly loved and will be missed by those who knew her in this life.
She was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Goshen.
The family wishes to thank the hospice nurses of 3 West at Goshen Hospital for their loving care of Jane.
Visitation will be Saturday, April 17, from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral service at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 18548 C.R. 18, Goshen. Pastor Andrew Wollman will officiate.
Burial will be at a later date in Cedar Point Cemetery, Pasco, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.
