Julien A. Turcotte, 88, of Manchester, NH died January 27, 2021, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada, on September 23, 1932, he was the son of Reynald and Imelda (Tanguay) Turcotte. He resided in Manchester since 1965.
Julien was a union carpenter, drywaller, and metal framer, as well as owned and operated his tractor-trailer business.
His family was the center of his life. Julien was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose kindness and heart knew no boundaries. His dealings with others were always characterized by integrity and compassion. He was a motorcycle enthusiast. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed camping with his family. Julien will be deeply missed, and his memory held dear.
He was married to his beloved wife of sixty-seven years, Yvette L. Turcotte. She died April 20, 2018. He was also predeceased by his granddaughter, Krystal.
Family members include two sons, Claude Turcotte and his wife, Pamela, of Winchester, VA and Serge Turcotte and his wife, Micheline, of Bath, NH; two daughters, Sylvie Mullen and her husband, David, of Manchester and Nancy Abbott, and her husband, Russell, of Bow; nine grandchildren, Jean-Paul, Daniel, Jason, Natalie, Nathan, Elizabeth, Mariellen, Brendan, and Hollie; seven great-grandchildren;
Services: A walk-through wake with strict social distancing, masks, and restricted contact with the family will be held Thursday, February 4, 2021 from 4 to 7 PM at Connor-Healy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 537 Union Street, Manchester, NH.
The funeral will be held Friday, February 5, 2021, with a mass of Christian burial to be celebrated at 10 AM in Saint Anthony Church, Belmont Street, Manchester, NH. The church has planned social distancing procedures. Masks are required.
Encryptment will follow in Mount Calvary Mausoleum, Manchester, NH.
