Julie Stephens Stice, 52, of Ft. Worth, passed away at her home October 11, 2022. She was born April 6, 1970, to Truman Jefferson Stephens and Valine Maxine Carlton Stephens in Wichita Falls, Texas. Julie married Steven Stice December 19, 1992.
Julie mostly grew up in Wichita Falls, Texas and graduated from Burkburnett High School Class of 1988. She and Steven began their relationship as high school sweethearts and have had a loving marriage of thirty years. Julie attended Vernon College where she obtained her cosmetologist license. She later retired from her cosmetology career. Julie loved anything history related. She was a talented artist and enjoyed painting, making holiday wreaths, and being creative. She also loved flowers very much. Julie and Steven are members of First Christian Church of Burkburnett. Julie was always her happiest while spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, devoted sister and sister-in-law, doting aunt, and loyal friend to many. She will be forever missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her husband, Steven Stice; sisters-in-law, Marsha Stephens and Kim Stice-Cruz; nieces, Amy Donald, Jennifer Stephens, Becky Koesler, Megan Longoria, Lauren Cruz and Amanda Moore; and other extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Tony Stephens, Mark Stephens, and Terry Stephens.
Julie's family will receive friends for visitation Saturday, October 15, 2022, from 1:30-3:00 p.m. at Nowlin Anders Funeral Home Chapel in De Leon, Texas. Graveside services will begin at 3:30 p.m. in Round Grove Cemetery outside of De Leon.
