Garcia Mortuary
With heavy hearts we share the passing of Julian V Silva. He was a beloved husband, father, papa, brother, son, Tio, nephew, cousin, and friend. He passed on Tuesday November 30, 2021 surrounded by many loved ones.
He was a lifelong Oxnard California resident who was well known in the neighborhood looking out for others on his daily bike rides. He was the go to man for anyone in need. He made plenty of friends and lifelong relationships supporting youth athletics that his children were a part of. Julian always put his family first. There will never be enough words to describe the personality he brought to every gathering along with his dance. He was always ready for a dance off. He was the life of the party and gave unconditional love and support to everyone he encountered.
He is survived by his beloved wife Claudia, son Julian (grandson Oliver), son Thomas, daughter Sabrina (Husband Memo), grandkids DeAngelo, Marcelo and Leonardo, sister Olivia (husband Tino) along with an extended family of many aunts, uncles, brother and sister in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, Who will all miss him dearly.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 from 4pm to 6:30pm with a rosary to be recited at 7pm at the Garcia Mortuary Chapel in Oxnard. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00am on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at St. Anthony's Church in Oxnard.
