Julia E. McDevitt (nee Earley), age 95, of Upper Darby. PA, passed away on May 23, 2022. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Julia Earley (nee McCormick). Julia was a graduate of Little Flower High School in Philadelphia, PA. She worked as a Supervisor for Bell Telephone Company for 43 years. Julia was a loving, strong, caring, generous and warm-hearted woman. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Cyril of Alexandria Church in East Lansdowne and a devoted Catholic. She enjoyed bingo, the carnivals at St. Cyril, traveling to the Jersey shore, especially Ocean City and going to the casinos. Julia loved her family, seeing her grandchildren play sports, and watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune and loved the Phillies. Julia is survived by her loving son, Joseph F. McDevitt (Donnalee Mintz), her grandchildren Caitlin Nash (Craig), Kelly Grigioni (Zachary) and Joseph McDevitt (Katie) and her great-grandchildren Lukas, Carson, Benjamin, Easton and Jameson and many loving nieces and nephews. Sister of the late Leo, Francis, Helen and Mary. Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 from 9:00-10:30 AM at St. Philomena Church, 41 E. Baltimore Avenue, Lansdowne, PA and to her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA. Flowers or memorial donations to the St. Vincent DePaul Society, 661 W.
