Judy Carol Grammer, 79, originally from Montgomery, Texas, passed away peacefully with her family by her side in El Paso, Texas, on Sunday, March 24, 2024. She was born on September 13, 1944, in Galveston, Texas. Judy was a beloved wife, mother, and friend to many. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert "Bob" Grammer; and grandson, Christopher Bryan DuBose.
Judy is survived by daughter, Theresa and Michael Spagna of El Paso; son, Michael and Angelika Grammer of Georgetown; daughters, Ann Marie and fianc?, Thomas Rogers of Cut and Shoot, Virgie Covington of Conroe, Evelyn and John Powell, Jr. of Montgomery; grandchildren, Joanna and Marcus Schuler of Hutto, Robert and Dannyelle of Conroe, Jerrod and Aleyia DuBose of Greensboro, N.C., Johnathan and Shambree Jones of Elgin, Okla., Kristie Inge and fianc?, Cameron Lilley, Corey Powell of Conroe and Vivian and Valerie Anthony of Montgomery; great-grandchildren, Briella, Donovan, Maddison, Robert, Wyatt, Harper, Abigail, and Phyllis. Numerous friends and relatives also survive.
The family will receive friends on Friday, April 5, 2024, at Metcalf Funeral Directors from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with a Rosary to begin at 6:30 p.m. Catholic funeral services will be at Metcalf Funeral Directors on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Montgomery, Texas. Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Grammer, Robert Thompson, Jerrod DuBose, Johnathan Jones, Michael Spagna, and John Powell, Jr. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at https://stjude.org/give.html.
