Judy Hale Dennison of Venice, Florida passed away December 12, 2021 at the age of 73 years.
Judy was born in Louisville, Kentucky on March 14, 1948.
After she received her doctorate at Michigan State University in chemistry, Judy spent her life educating children and teachers. She worked in the curriculum departments in both Gwinnett County and Fulton County School Systems in Georgia. Judy loved to cook and make jewelry for her friends. She was active in Venice United Church of Christ where she played many roles including moderator and treasurer.
Judy was preceded in death by her father Reverend Wade Hampton Hale, her mother Effie Elizabeth Hale and her sister Brenda Hale Snyder.
She is survived by her life's partner Vicky Ferguson of Venice, her son John Michael Dennison, her daughter Kristin Dennison Abercrombie, son in-law David Abercrombie, and grandsons Dylan Abercrombie and Wade Abercrombie all of Georgia. Judy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
A memorial service is planned at 11:00 AM on January 15, 2022 at Venice United Church of Christ at 620 Shamrock Boulevard, Venice, Florida.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Venice Untied Church of Christ for the Labyrinth Fund.
