Judith Ann WalserJudith Ann Walser, 82 of Midland, died Tuesday afternoon, July 19, 2022, at Candlestone Assisted Living in Midland. She was born June 22, 1940, in Midland, the daughter of the late Charles and Lila Mae (Emerson) Oetting. On December 22, 1962, she married William J. Walser at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sanford. Judith worked in Human Resources at Dow Chemical for 22 years, after that she drove bus for the Beaverton School District for 10 years.She is survived by her husband William of Midland; son Robert (Linda) Walser and their daughters: Susan (fiancé Matt McCormick) and Elena all of Dekalb, IL; sisters: Janet Laplow of Hope and Joan (Joseph) Slayton of Midland/Texas; sister-in-law Jeannine Walser of Sanford, and by several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter Susan.Funeral services for Judith will take place 11 a.m. Friday, July 22, 2022, from St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sanford. Rev. Christopher Vossler will officiate with interment to follow in Homer Township Cemetery. Judith's family will receive friends at the Ware Smith Woolever Funeral Home 1200 West Wheeler Street on Thursday from 4–8 p.m. and at the church on Friday morning from 10 a.m. until time of the service. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Alzheimer's Association Greater Michgan Chapter.
