Judith Ellen Varian

Judith Ellen Varian of Boston, Massachusetts passed away on Monday, May 13th, 2024 in Naples, Florida.

Judy was born in Boston to her parents Joan and David Redmond on September 10th, 1962. She graduated from Norwood Highschool and attended the Massachusetts General Hospital School of Nursing. She was a loving and caring nurse for so many patients at many places in Naples, but most recently at Solaris North Naples. Her care for patients was unparalleled and she was known for her wit, compassion and ability to light up any room. If she was not caring for her patients, Judy was a devout mother for both of her kids, Catie Beth and Patrick. She would attend every horse show with Catie Beth and was on the sidelines with Patrick on the lacrosse fields.

Judy is preceded in death by her mother, Joan (Mauwn/Redmond) Fox; Father, David Redmond and Step-Father, Gerald Fox. She is survived by her loving children: Caitlyn (Catie Beth) Varian, Patrick Varian; her siblings: Diane (Redmond) Pessa, Debbie (Redmond) Lunn, David Redmond and Brian Redmond.

The family will be having a celebration of her life at St. Agnes in Naples on Friday May 24th, 2024 at 11AM ahead of her being laid to rest in Massachusetts later this year. The family would ask that in lieu of flowers that charitable donations be made to St. Jude or the Humane Society of Naples.
