Taberg- Judith E. Prosser, 82, passed away on February 16, 2021.
She was born in Utica, the daughter of Clever and Mildred Butterworth Hall. She graduated from Whitesboro High School in the Class of 1956. She attended Potsdam State University where she earned her bachelor's degree in education and earned her master's degree in teaching from Syracuse University. Judy taught elementary school in Spring Valley and Whitesboro, but spent most of her teaching career at Annsville Elementary School, in the Camden Central School District, retiring in 1994.
She was united in marriage with Charles Prosser on June 8, 1968. She was very active in the Point Rock United Methodist Church where she was the organist and choir director for many years. She dearly loved her family and loved the time she spent with them in the Adirondacks. She was a wonderful cook and baker; she loved music, reading, knitting and animals. She especially thought the world of her grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband, Charles, two daughters, Melissa and Bill Lallier, Pulaski, N.Y. and Jennifer and Richard Greggains, Taberg and three beloved grandchildren, Seth, Mandy and Rylee.
A private graveside service will be held in the spring at Point Rock Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Memorial donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, Attn. Memorial Processing, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
