She was a graduate of Chisholm High School. She was very active in politics and was proud that she was invited to two Presidential Inaugurations. It was not unusual to have a US Senator or congressman stop by the house. She volunteered her time at hospitals, nursing homes, schools, Golden Gloves events, other non-profits and as a voting judge. As her kids were growing up, she started working as an accountant at Target's headquarters. In 1980 she joined her husband and started Patrick Michael Supply Company in Anoka. She retired in 2004.
She loved being a mother and a grandmother. She was loved and admired by all her kids' friends in the neighborhood. She was a mom to many. She enjoyed spending time at the cabin in Wisconsin with her loved ones. Mostly she loved spending time with her friends and family and was involved with them in bowling leagues, card clubs, ceramics, and water aerobics. This past year she was an avid volunteer at the Bagley senior center and food shelf.
