Judith (Judy) Ann Leisure, 78 a lifelong Rush County resident, passed away on April 7, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on August 26, 1941 in Rushville, IN to the late Robert and Mary (Kehl) Bills. Judy was a 1959 graduate of Rushville Consolidated High School and a 1960 graduate of Indiana Business College. She married George Phillip Leisure on December 1, 1963 and he survives. Judy was a fulltime homemaker after leaving General Electric in 1968. She was a 4-H Leader for the Jivin Jacksons 4-H Club for 35 years and a member of the Epsilon Sigma Alpha Sorority, Hi-Nabors Home Economics Club, and her monthly Euchre club for many years. She was also a member of Hannegan Christian Church.
In addition to her husband, Phil, of Rush County, Judy is survived by her sons, Brent Leisure and Doug (fiancee Brandi) Leisure of Rush County and her daughter, Susan Carney of Westfield, IN, a brother Mark (Dena) Bills of Falmouth, and a sister Sheryl (Lou) Mazzatenta of Clifton, VA. She will also be missed by her grandchildren, Elizabeth and Andrew Carney. Judy is preceded in death by her parents. She will always be remembered for the love she showed her grandchildren.
Private Graveside Services will be held at Hannegan Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date for Judy. Memorial contributions may be made to Hannegan Christian Church or the Sheehan Cancer Center. Moster Mortuary is entrusted to the services of Judy.
