Judith Anne Arseneault, 82, died on May 18, 2024 at Colonial Poplin Nursing Home in Fremont, NH. She was born on December 9, 1941 in Lebanon, NH, the daughter of the late Wesley and Gladys (Ellis) Lane.
She grew up in Lebanon, NH and graduated from Lebanon High School in 1959. Formerly of Nashua and Kingston NH, she eventually settled in Fremont. She worked for many years doing clerical work for Sanders Associates in Nashua, NH, where she also met her husband, Donald. She also worked Evaluation Services in Andover, MA before she retired.
Judith had a great interest in genealogy. She was a member of the Canadian Genealogy Group in Manchester, NH and in Boston, MA. She even traveled to England to do genealogy research. She also published a book on the vital records of the town of Kingston, NH which is currently on file at the Library of Congress in Washington DC. Family was most important to her and her favorite pastime was spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years Donald A. Arseneault of Fremont, NH; two sons, Kevin Lennon and his wife Tammy of Danville, NH and Jeffrey Lennon and his wife Denae of Decatur AL; her daughter Deborah Damien of St. Augustine, FL; her sister Janet Dunn and her husband George of Weare, NH; her brother Richard Lane and his wife Marylou of Murrells Inlet, SC; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two daughters, Katherine Arseneault and Laurie Mitchell.
The family wishes to extend a sincere "Thank You" to the entire staff at Colonial Poplin Nursing Home for their tender and exceptional care.
Calling Hours will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 from 4-7 PM at the Brewitt Funeral Home, 2 Epping St., Raymond, NH. A Graveside Service will be held on June 5, 2024 at 12:00 PM at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH.
