On August 27, 2018, with heavy hearts we lost the most loving brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. Juan always had a smile on his face and never met a stranger. He lived his life exactly the way he wanted to, visiting neighbors and making new friends everywhere he went. His smile and laughter will be missed by all who were blessed to have known him. Juan is preceded in death by his parents, Andres and Alicia as well as his two brothers Joe (Tiny) and Robert Garza. He leaves behind two brothers Andrew (Virginia) Garza and Raymond Garza, and one sister Alma Pena, as well as numerous nephews and nieces.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Maxwell P. Dunne Funeral Home, 1222 Morgan Ave., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 31, 2018 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
