Joyce Ann McGrady was born February 26, 1947 in Cleburne, TX to Alton W. and Ila Mae (Wylie) London and passed from this life on October 14, 2019 in Carrollton, TX.
She was a very crafty person. She loved all kinds of arts and crafts, especially painting and quilting. Joyce also loved sports. She was the Director of IBBA as well as the Director of the Pony League World Series. She had a running "pot" at the beauty shop with her lady friends on whether or not her Cowboys would win. She even had it checked regularly when she couldn't.
Joyce was with the Dallas County Sheriff's Department for 18 years. She spoiled the deputies with cakes and cookies at work on a regular basis.
She was preceded in death by her father, Alton Wade London and her brother, Randy Lee London.
Joyce is survived by her mother, Ila Mae London; her brother, Ronnal London and wife Sharon; nieces and nephews, Tana Smith and husband Rick, Micheal London, Brian London and wife Terri, Brandon London and fiancee Krystal, Kim Sutherland, and Ron Jones, Jr; great-niece, Paige Smith; great-nephew, Peyton Smith; and numerous additional family members and friends.
Family will receive friends from 3:00pm to 5:00pm, Sunday, October 20, 2019 at Byrum Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 11:00am, Monday, October 21, 2019 at Byrum Funeral Home Chapel.
