Joyce Ann Maierle, age 88, of Royal Oak, passed away on May 28, 2022.
Joyce was longtime English teacher with the Hazel Park School District. She was an avid reader and served as volunteer at the Royal Oak Public Library. In her free time, Joyce was also quite involved with her church and Stephens Ministry-through St. Dennis Parish-over many years. She also particularly enjoyed spending time with her extended family.
Visitation will take place on Friday, June 3, 4 - 8 p.m. (Rosary at 7:00 p.m.) at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W. 11 Mile Rd. (4 blocks E. of Woodward), Royal oak. Funeral Mass will take place Saturday, June 4, 11:00 a.m. (visitation:10:30) at St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church, 28353 Herbert St., Madison Heights.
Memorial contributions can be directed to the Royal Oak Public Library or Catholic Relief Services.
