Sparkman Hillcrest Obits
Joyce Louise Read Wright went to her heavenly Father on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 in Dallas, Texas. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all that knew her.
Joyce was born February 13, 1934 to parents Gordon and Edna Read. She moved to Dallas, where she found the love of her life, Frank Samuel Wright. They shared a wonderful life of 65 years together, traveling, loving friends, and being fellow adventurers in life.
She is survived by her daughter, Allyson Wright Rogers and her husband, Dean, son, Jason Scott Wright and his wife Jenny; grandchildren, Channing Hayward Wakeman and her husband, Micah, Lillian Madison Wright, India Scott Wright, Rachel Kay Rogers and Frances Cordova Rogers; and eight great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2024 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at Sparkman Hillcrest Funeral Home, 7405 W. Northwest Hwy, Dallas, Texas 75225.
