EAST BRUNSWICK - JOYCE HALL passed away on Monday, July 19, 2021, at The Chelsea, East Brunswick. She was 88.
Born in Bordentown, she lived there until moving to East Brunswick 50 years ago.
Prior to retiring in 1983, she worked as a corporate secretary for the Ford Motor Company, Trenton for 33 years.
She was an active member of St. Bartholomew R.C. Church, East Brunswick, and belonged to the Altar Rosary Society for years. Joyce and Art's interest was to travel all the time. She would always look for the closest candy store that sold fudge and any kind of chocolate, but most of all she always came back to her hometown, Bordentown, NJ, for everything. She was always ready for her overnight trips to Atlantic City with her friends (she was always a winner at the slot machines).
Joyce was predeceased by her loving husband of 47 years, Arthur, and her parents, Charles and Veronica (Maley) McGowan, and her sister, Christine and her husband, Jack Klein.
Surviving are her two nephews, Charles Klein (Molly), Michael Klein (Dottie); step-daughter, Susan Martinson (Gary Sr.); step-son, David Hall; her two cousins, Kathleen Schweppenheiser (John Jr.), John J. Maley (Susan); three brothers-in-law, Edward, James (Suzy) and Raymond Hall; her dear friends, Ann Ryan, Joan Vanbrunt, Gail Daugherty, and her wonderful neighbor, Jean and Ruberto Hemmans. She will be dearly missed by all.
Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, July 27, 2021, from 9:00 to 9:45am, at The BRUNSWICK MEMORIAL HOME, 454 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick where funeral services will be held at 9:45am.
