Joy Hall (nee Howell), age 82, of Lorain, passed away peacefully at her home and surrounded by her family, on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, while under the care of Hospice of the Western Reserve.Joy was born on February 7, 1940 in White Bluff, TN eventually moving to Lorain in the early 1960’s. She enjoyed cooking, watching her favorite cooking shows and trying out new recipes. Joy also liked working on crafts, one of her favorites was beading.She is survived by her children; Anton “Butch” (Verda) Reising, of Wakeman, Rhonda (John) Phillips, of Lorain, Starlit (Kerry) McFarland, of North Olmsted, and Jamie (Tonia) Hall, of Kalispell, MT, her grandchildren; Misty, Jessica, Carrie, Hiedi, Jeff, Zackery, and Kiara, and her great grandchildren; Elijah, Marcus, Zoe, Mark, Lily, and Destiny.Joy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jason Hall, a son, Christian Hall, a great grandson, Adonis, parents; Jesse, Sr. and Robbie Mae (nee Wren) Howell, and her siblings; Jesse Howell, Jr., Christine Viola, Bobbie Deaton, and Betty Brown.The family will receive friends on Monday, June 13th, 2022 from 6 – 8 pm, in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst, OH 44001. Her funeral will be on Tuesday, June 14th, at 11:30 am, also in the funeral center. Burial will follow at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst.
