Josephine Travis Maga?a passed away June 9, 2022, at the age of 80. She is survived by her son, daughter-in-law, and 2 granddaughters. She is also survived by her 2 sisters and 3 brothers. She was born to Joe and Bartola Maga?a in Corcoran, California on March 18, 1942. Josie had worked as an office clerk assisting teachers and students for the Fresno Unified School district until she retired at the age of 72. While retired she lived an adventurous life, traveling independently or with the Catholic Daughters to far away destinations such as Italy and Greece. She was a devout Catholic and always would greet you with a warm smile. She was a bright and joyful spirit and she will be missed.
A celebration of life was held in Visalia, California which was attended by many loving family members. A private service was held on July 1, 2022, in Honolulu, Hawaii.
